The fourth and final South African National Equestrian Schools’ Association (SANESA) inter-schools’ qualifier was held at Kyalami Equestrian Park in June. I extend my congratulations to the entire St Mary’s team for their commitment and enthusiasm during the four qualifiers and thank Ms Wood for her continued support. These four qualifiers are used to choose teams to represent the Johannesburg region at Gauteng Regionals, which will be held the first weekend in August. It is at regionals that Gauteng teams will be chosen to go through to SANESA nationals.

Although mention has been made of the top five individual results only in the newsletters, there are other classes in which our 10 riders have participated and all these points contribute to the overall team standing. Each rider has made an important contribution to the team result.
